It's been like loosing a hand, it's like loosing something that you've ever had. You feel alone with him and with his absence.
It will pass, I'm here waiting for the time to go by.
Brushes are dry at moment, but I'll be back soon, that's what he wanted from me!

Oh no...Loredana, I am so sorry to hear this.
You have my deepest sympathy...and prayers.
I lost my father on Dec 11th...some 5 years ago. I miss him dearly still.
The time you had together and the memories will keep you strong, hold on to that.
He will always be with you, in you heart and mind.
But he will now have no more pain, and he is at rest.
Yes this time is hard...and your brushes are dry, but someday when you pick those brushes up again...all the joys you shared, and memories will come flowing thru and help ease your pain.
Remember if you need a friend...you made one here in me.

Loredana, I'm so sorry for your loss. My dad is battling stage 4 cancer right now, and he lives many miles away. It's odd what you think at times like this, but I can't imagine my world without him in it - even though we don't communicate very often. There's just something about knowing that you can. I hope you find new ways to feel your dad's presence. I'm sure he left many reminders of his presence in your life and in your heart.
