I have decided: I'm not a good blogger.
I'd like to post more often and to say here much more interesting things, but I don't do it.
Why?
It's simple, I can't find the time to do all the things I love or must do.
I always miss a half day, each day, to spend doing things I usually don't do.
Well, you should be asking what I'm doing in this days, I'm not painting that much, not in the sense I'd mean I usually paint, I'm preparing a gift for Francesca, my friend Sabrina's daughter. Francesca will have her First Communion on May 3rd and I'm preparing a set of OSWOA painting that she'll give to her relatives and friends at the party that will follow the ceremony.
Theoretically the most important Christian Festivity is the Baptism
(Shower), but as we usually give it to the baby when he/she's very little, it becomes that the First Communion is the real first act one can do participating in first person.
So fine, Francesca came to my show and watch all the paintings I hanged to the wall and she decided she loved the flowers with the green painted matte; here I go and I'm preparing those for her. It's not a big work, it will be 8 or max 10 little paintings, I'll show 'em here if won't be in a hurry and if I'll be able to take some pics.
I want to add a picture of what's happening here around, spring is blooming, it rains a lot and when the sun pops out the clouds it's too hot!
My peach tree (in a vase and coming from a seed that the boys planted 3 or 4 years ago)
Liliac in the school's garden
Peony, my favourite flower at this time!
Have a great time you all!

Hi Loredana, you have a wonderful blog and more to the point I love your watercolours. They have a freshness and purity in colour choice and a sensitive touch. Great work, and please keep blogging. r.
Loredana - Do you know lilac and peony are two of MY favorite flowers! I actually planted them in our yard, but I have a brown thumb, and they died in the first season. For the 9 years we've lived here, I've tried to grow tomatoes, and I can't get them to grow either...It seems the more I love a plant, the more likely it will not survive my gardening!! The dandelions are growing great!
The flowers are beautiful.
xoxo
Peonies are my favorite too!
BEAUTIFUL flowers, Loredana, thanks for sharing them.
